xpected More Than Just a Story with Crafting

    • Pros
    • Impressive work for a solo dev
    • Basic crafting/building is there
    • Cons
    • Lacks unique mechanics
    • Weak automation systems
    • Base building feels secondary
    • Didn’t meet expectations

I had higher expectations going into Aethus. I was hoping for some fresh mechanics or at least deeper automation systems like in Hydroneer, but that’s not really what this game is about. It’s much more focused on story, with crafting and base building feeling more like side features than the main attraction. Respect to the solo developer for building this alone, but at the same time I expected a bit more depth from the gameplay side.
