Turtle Rock Studios, the developers behind the zombie shooter Back 4 Blood, have revealed the release date for the new Children of the Worm expansion pack.

Expansion pack two will feature a new story act. Unlike the first DLC where they only added optional stages, you could play in between the story stages called the hive, act 5 is a six-stage long act where you will come across a new group of people. The locations we visit will be the homes and surrounding areas where these people live.

Expansion pack one gave us new variants of the existing mutants, while expansion pack two comes with new types of enemies, which are the humans living in this area. According to the name of this expansion pack, we can assume they are the children of the worm, a group of people that worship the ridden. There will be four types. The first one with an assault rifle. Another one with bombs. The 3rd one uses a bow, and the final one has long metal claws.

A new character will join the cleaners, “Prophet” Dan, a self-proclaimed preacher. Alongside this, there will also be plenty of new cosmetics for the cleaners and their weapons. However, how to unlock these is still to be announced.

New cards and accessories will be added as well. One of these will be a bear trap.

Back 4 Blood expansion Children of the Worm will be released on the 30th of August this year.
