Blastronaut is a blast to play in short bursts, with fast-paced action and explosions around every corner. The moment-to-moment gameplay is chaotic in the best way, and blowing through levels with friends feels satisfying. It doesn’t offer a ton of depth or long-term goals, but for quick matches and fun sessions, it delivers exactly what it promises.
I played this for Gameoneer in a coop game with my friend and fellow Streamer for a few hours and while there was some frustration in the game, it was bloody good fun, worth keeping and eye on for sure.
When I say it feels like Astroneer meets Terraria I mean it, it’s a really interesting pixel art survival game and with some tweaks it will be brilliant.
