December is a festive month and developer Pugstorm is celebrating Christmas early with a seasonal event for their cave-dwelling survival Core Keeper. This is the most significant event they have done to date, and it comes with new villagers, mechanics, decorations, and much more.
Christmas event
When you wander around the caverns you notice six enemies are wearing Christmas themed outfits. These are the three early game cavelings, the shroomans, and the orange and red slime. Each of these monsters drop new festive items like a gingerbread man or snowman outfit, snowballs, milk and cookies, and more.
When you go to the carpenters’ workbench you are now able to craft a seasonal calendar that you can hang on the wall to invite the seasonal merchant.
This new NPC sells three items in exchange for the milk and cookies that are dropped by some of the monsters. This includes the festive workbench where you can craft new decorations like a Christmas tree, fireplace, snow ground, walls, fireworks, and of course a snowman.
One of the other things he sells is a little helpling (These come in multiple colors). When giving this little guy some cooked food he will craft presents for you that contain even more decorations and new food. Giving him rare foods will give you a luxury present. These have all the monster drops (Including the new figures), fireworks, and unique collectibles in them.

The event runs from December 13th till January 5th and is based on your pc clock. Meaning if you want to revisit the event all you have to do is change the time on your computer to this date and you will be able to play it again.
Have you played Core Keepers Christmas event yet, and do you think it has enough content? Let me know in the comments.
