First of all it’s free and is an Open World Survival Crafting game with a huge world and an epic story. It contains various biomes, ruins and puzzles. it’s actually fun. if you enjoy crafting survival games, if you enjoy BOTW, Genshin Impact, Minecraft etc. give it a chance and realize how fun it is. Once you get past the tutorial phase of the game it gets better and also it’s not a fps game it’s a survival crafting game.
Dawnlands, an open-world survival crafting game, unfortunately falls short of expectations. While it promises a vast world with epic lore and varied biomes, the execution leaves much to be desired. The graphics, though colorful, don’t make up for the game’s numerous shortcomings.
The game’s progression system, which involves moving through different biomes and defeating bosses to unlock new technology tiers, initially seems engaging but quickly becomes repetitive and tedious.
Crafting, a core component of the game, is overwhelming due to the sheer number of items and resources you need to manage. Additionally, side quests are poorly implemented, lacking proper map markers, which makes them frustrating to complete.
The combat mechanics, while serviceable, can feel clunky and uninspired. Performance issues, such as bugs and frame drops, further detract from the overall experience, especially in multiplayer mode.
In summary, Dawnlands is a game with potential that fails to deliver a compelling and enjoyable experience. It’s a decent attempt at an open-world survival game… but you know why its free to play.
