Lacking Compared to The First Game But Fun
    7
    • Pros
    • Great combat and parkour feel
    • Better character customization than in the first game
    • Massive world to explore
    • Lots of side-quests, activities, and things to loot
    • Cons
    • The story is poor compared to the first title
    • Side quests while plentiful, feel bloated in dialogue and poorly written
    • Nearly the entire world lacks any kind of detail or diversity. Most buildings have no distinct interior design or exterior design.
    • The combat in regards to skills doesn't feel as exciting or fun as the first game

Dying Light 2 is great, but it’s not perfect. In all honesty, it feels more like a spin-off to the first game. Dying Light 1 was a perfected combination of horror and a sense of survival. The protagonist Kyle Crane was a normal man put into an impossible situation of moral struggle and responsibility over the survivors of Harran. Dying Light 2 lacks any of this. Aiden is not as great of a protagonist compared to Crane. While the gameplay is fun, it leaves out many of the thrilling elements contained in the first title. However, it also expands upon its parkour flexibility and animation quality.

    Best parkour game
    9
    • Pros
    • Parkour
    • Melee combat in first person
    • Zombies and gore
    • Story
    • Freedom
    • Music
    • Cons
    • A bit repetitive
    • Longest tutorial ever

I like a lot the combat feel in first person, the way you feel like you are there and do awesome moves to kill the enemies, humans and zombies. I actually wish it was a medieval game with swords, but for now this one is good enough. The map is huge and you are free to go wherever you want, though some areas are better at night, when there are fewer zombies. The story is good but not the best ever, secondary quests have good stories as well.

    A piece of art

    • Pros
    • New features are nice
    • Feels similar to DL1 that I like
    • Solid game
    • Cons
    • Night time could be scarier
    • Too much talking

This game is amazing do not listen to any hate about it. I was skeptical at first because there are no guns in it like the first Dying Light but it actually makes the game play more interactive and makes the game more scary. The graphics are amazing and I love the immersion you get while playing the game. The story is good as well. The maps are amazing you can go basically anywhere. You can also get bows so if you are worried about ranged combat you still have that option with lots of different arrows.

It is a long game. 21 hours in and I feel like I am just starting out.

    Perfect Zombie Game
    10
    • Pros
    • Elements of flying and jumping are taken into account
    • Parkour is well optimized and not laggy
    • Story is well made meaning it is quite understandable
    • Weapons can be crafted to suit the needs of the player

Version 2 of Dying Light. This game is much better than Dying Light which was build and graphics is quite distinct to players. There was no complains or bugs that cause the game to be bad, meaning this game is good.

A sound game, albeit a bit buggy
    9
    • Pros
    • It's a fun game to play alone or with friends.
    • It has some amazing mechanics, including the parkour system, grapple hook that can be used for both parkour and combat and a fun flight mechanic.
    • Cons
    • Still a little buggy in its early state, though not as game breaking as it was at launch.
    • One or two trophies also appear to still be bugged for PlayStation 4 and co-op can be spotty at times.
    • Still crashes every now and again, though this isn't a regular occurrence.

Overall a really good game, with a good story and fun game mechanics.

Would highly recommend playing it for yourself.

    • Pros
    • Controls
    • Loads to do
    • movement
    • Cons
    • Repetitive side Missions
    • Achievements can not be collected in 1 save
    • You can get permanently Stuck and have to replay the game

Dying Light 2 is a long awaited squeal that has improved a lot over its predecessor.

The game has refined its parkour controls a lot over the last installment.
Though the start is kind of slow, once you unlocked a few skills you zip around the city with ease.
And once you unlocked the full move set you can literally fly across the city and climb up on any building.

The story of dying light 2 is nothing to out of the ordinary, You play as Aiden who traveled over 2000 km to get to the city where the game takes place in. With the objective of finding his sister. While looking for her you find out the city has been split into 3 factions, Survivors a name given to the people who mainly survive day by day. The Peace Keepers, a group of people who work on getting the future back to normal but have strict rules and if you do not follow them, you’re dead. And last the renegades a group of bandits who follow the main antagonist of the game.

During the game you get to make chooses like who gets a water tower or other decisions a outsider probably shouldn’t be able to have a say over.
This will shape the path you choose, you can help to get the survivors or peace keepers and both lead to different quests as well as new ways to get around the city or combat the undead.

There are a lot of side quests but not even half way through the game you start to notice that most of these side quests are just time trails or combat challenges. and some have a large amount of the same thing to do like collecting books.

Because the game lets you choose who to side with there are of course achievements for both of these groups. but that is not all because a other choose you have to make from the start is to either max health or stamina since if you keep them equal through out the game you can not max out either of them! Making trying to 100% the game rather annoying since you have to than play it 3 times. (after finding this out it stopped me from going for 100% so heads up.)
A quick side not, the game does have a couple save breaking glitches but you wont usually find these during normal play.

Even with its problems i enjoyed the game a lot more than i thought i would and i definitely recommend playing it if you haven’t
