Dreamside Interactive has released a roadmap for the survival RPG Frozen Flame. We can expect a seasonal event, new biomes, bosses, and quests over the next few months.

The first stage: Dragon’s Grove

For the month of December, Frozen Flame will receive not one but two updates. A new Winter Island will launch early next month. This is where you interact with the event and get festive decorative items. Towards the end of December, a new biome will be added. Dragon’s Grove Island will contain new field bosses, NPCs, quests, continuing the story, and more. We can build with stone and craft iron weapons and armor. 

The January update will follow up on the content releasing next month by adding the Dragon’s Grove Keeper, the boss of the biome. There will be a few new smaller islands to explore around Dragon’s Grove and more weapons to discover.

February is the last date the developers gave and this month sounds really exciting with another new biome. The Cursed Islands come with a new type of enemy which are referred to as cursed enemies. As before there will be new building pieces, decorations, and quests. Two major additions are the ability to enchant your gear, this comes with a new workstation. You will also be able to play an instrument but which ones have not been confirmed. This was everything that was part of their stage one plan.

What is to come later

We also got some details about 3 other stages. There will of course be new weapons, armor, quests, and NPCs.

The survival mode was first introduced in the beta but it will be playable only in the 2nd stage of the roadmap. Mounts will be available later on, including new character abilities. Two new biomes, the Ghostwoods will come with chapter three of the main quest line, and the Ghostwood Keeper, the boss of this area. 

The final location is Frozen Land. This comes with a new dragon boss that roams the area and the final story location the Ice Citadel. This is where you battle against the main antagonist; The Faceless and potentially finish the game.
