Generation Zero Releases Robotic Companions Into the Wild

Every boy's dream is to have a dog with a machine gun.

Almost every young boy’s dream is to have a robotic dog. They look cool, the girls would dig it, and best of all, you don’t have to pick up any poop! But the technology isn’t there yet to make it a reality. However, in Generation Zero, it’s now possible; you can have your very own robotic companion!

With the most recent update to the game comes a new mission called “Making Friends,” which you can acquire at the Vesslan Bunker Warboard. Once you travel around to a few destinations, you will be able to assemble your very own Runner pooch. Your new metallic protector will be able to carry a weight limit of 30, but sadly, it cannot carry you, so no riding off into the sunset.

You will be able to change its name, color scheme, light kits, weapons, and even its very voice. Currently, with the free companion update, you can outfit your new friend with three different weapons: the machine gun, shotgun, and rocket launcher. You can also choose between four different paint jobs. Resistance, Prototype, military, and FNIX 2 voice boxes: Modulator, which has an assortment of beeps and boops, and FNIX, which makes it sound like the FNIX runner that you’re used to hearing. Your Dogo bot comes with its default lighting set, but it can also be fitted with two other lighting kits: Hazard and Search.

If you are looking for a little something extra to make your pet stand out even more, then you can get the Companion Accessories Pack DLC.

With this DLC pack, not only will you be supporting the developers, but you will also get access to five extra paint jobs with colorful names such as Grad Prix, Bubblegum, Blackfire, Blue Thunder, and Mecha Monster. Three voice boxes: Digi-Dog, Speak and Learn, and Astrid There are three additional lighting kits: toxic glow, neon, and hazed.

Additionally, you will be able to add three different behavior modules that will give your companion some additional capabilities.

Scavenger Module: Allows your companion to collect items from defeated enemies. The Medic Module Allows your new buddy to heal you using medical supplies that it’s carrying in its inventory, and the Spotter Module allows your Battle Buddy to mark enemies during combat, causing them to take extra damage.

Lastly, there are three different armor types to equip. Ballistic Plate Armor reduces damage from bullets. Concussive Plate Armor Reduces damage taken by explosions, and Fire-Retardant armor reduces damage taken from fire.

What’s your favorite paint job? Let me know in the comments below.
