    More Laughs Than Scares

    • Pros
    • Creepy setting
    • Co-op fun
    • Simple objectives
    • Easy to learn
    • Short sessions
    • Cons
    • Predictable scares
    • Repetitive gameplay
    • Limited depth
    • Small variety
    • Basic mechanics

I went into Hauntsville hoping for a tense horror experience, but it ended up being more fun with friends than actually scary. The setting has a decent creepy vibe at first, and exploring while trying to avoid threats creates some early tension. But after a few sessions, the scares become predictable and the objectives feel pretty basic. Most of the enjoyment came from co-op chaos and joking around rather than the game itself. It’s not terrible, just a bit shallow and repetitive.
