It’s been over three years since the game’s Early Access launch, but the full release is almost here. In the upcoming 1.0 update for Len’s Island, players can expect to explore new biomes, uncover intriguing lore, and enjoy a fun farming mechanic that’s sure to resonate with animal lovers.
The developers are going to expand the caves with the introduction of a new slime biome. Filled with slime piles that can be mined for crafting resources, this location offers both opportunity and danger. As you venture deeper, you may even encounter more dangerous threats than you would expect.
But it’s not just about the environment. The 1.0 release will finally give us answers to some long-asked questions surrounding Len themselves. Who exactly is Len? How did he end up stranded on the island, and why is he always seen without shoes? These mysteries have been at the heart of the game’s story, and with the upcoming update, players will gain deeper insight into the game’s main character.
Get ready for a massive adventure 🌅

And for those who enjoy farming, Len’s Island is introducing a feature that will surely be a hit with players: chickens. Yes, chickens are coming to the game, and players will be able to raise and gather resources from their very own chicken farm. Chickens can be found roaming around the island, and by setting up chicken coops near your base, you’ll be able to create a comfortable home for them. This new farming aspect promises to add a fun, nurturing layer to the gameplay, and for those who appreciate a bit of light-hearted farming alongside their adventure, I’m sure it will be a welcome addition.
Along with the highly anticipated multiplayer support coming to the game, Len’s Island is set to be an exciting survival release this summer, launching on June 19, 2015.
