Flow Studio has released a major update for their Survival game Len’s Island. The Frozen Lands introduces a new winter region and Japan-inspired islands, where you can survive as a samurai.

The latest update brought us several new locations to explore, such as the cherry blossom islands, which are home to red pandas that can be tamed, and frozen stronghold islands, where new keystone dungeons can be found. Most importantly, a large frozen island has been added on which you can find a settlement offering two vendors, upgrade levels, and a range of new resources for trading. This northern location introduces some new fishing pools where you can catch tuna and squid.

There are three new keystone dungeons and a new major boss dungeon. These are surrounded by heavily guarded fortresses, so getting to them won’t be an easy task. These bastions are filled with a new variety of enemies. The main difference is that they wear armor, unlike the regular monsters. These enemies include the voidings, voids, elite voids, lightning fish, trolls, and the healer shaman voiding. Not only will you have to fight tougher opponents, the fortress also has a few ballista towers ready to fire if you come near the dungeon. 

Luckily, to face these dangerous foes, you can now upgrade all weapons and basic tools to the damascus steel tier, which allows you to place a second enchantment on your equipment. The enchanting system has undergone a redesign, featuring a new enchantment table UI, and an expanded list of enchantments. With the new resource, you can craft the damascus katana, which deals high critical damage.

The new loom machine allows for the transformation of cotton into cloth, which is used in advanced crafting recipes. You will now also be able to farm cotton and bamboo, and plant trees in large pots. Also, new armor sets, including the winter fur set, kabuto armor, and oni armor, can now be made, each offering unique abilities.
