No More Room in Hell 2 has finally announced its launch. The sequel was supposed to be released during Halloween 2022. However, after Lever Games, the original developer team, became part of Torn Banner—the studio behind the popular medieval PvP game Chivalry—the game was delayed for an unknown amount of time.
Now, nearly two years later, they revealed a new trailer at the Summer Game Fest, with more details following a few days later during the PC Gaming Show. No More Room in Hell 2 has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5, providing a better look and lighting system that brings out the game’s horror elements.
You will be dropped on a large, zombie-filled map with up to eight players, surviving the infected and completing puzzle-like objectives to win. The developers wanted to add more consequences to player’s actions, so you and your team must communicate what to do next. Teamwork becomes significantly more important due to permadeath, which means that if you die during the match, you can no longer play for that round.
No More Room in Hell 2 will launch into early access this Halloween on Steam and Epic Games. Torn Banner’s current plans are to continue updating the game for at least one year before releasing the 1.0 update. During this time, we can expect to receive more maps and missions to play, plenty of new weapons both firearms and melee, and a storyline.
Unlike the prequel, this game will not be free 2 play, and we can expect a price increase on full release.
