If you’re looking for a fast-paced coop shooter, No More Room in Hell 2 might be the game for you.
It’s a tense and brutal coop survival horror game that really gets the zombie apocalypse feel. The atmosphere is creepy and dark, with detailed environments and lighting that makes every corner feel deadly and scary. The sound design is awesome, with ambient creepy noises and zombie groans that’ll keep you on your toes at all times.
As always one of the things I love most in games is the coop. Working with teammates to scavenge for supplies, placing proximity bombs to blow up zombies and fighting off waves of undead makes every match feel intense and unpredictable.
The zombies are tough and ammo is limited, so you really have to think about every move. It’s not just about shooting, it’s about survival.
But as always I have to add something negative as the game isn’t perfect and has its flaws. The difficulty can be brutal especially if you’re playing with random teammates who don’t communicate well, not to mention the permadeath aspect. I am the type of person that doesn’t like loosing characters and I get too attached to them sometimes, so this is a big deal to me. Also there’s a bit of clunkiness in some mechanics like melee combat which doesn’t always feel as smooth as it should. And while the game has great atmosphere, some areas could use a bit more variety to keep things fresh. But not to focus too much on the negative aspects, let’s just say the game needs a bit more polish, but it’s on the way to being great.
Overall, No More Room in Hell 2 is a solid survival horror game that’s fun to play with friends. If you like coop and don’t mind a challenge, it’s worth a try. Just be prepared for some scary and frustrating moments, especially when you lose a character, and a whole lot of zombies!
