Miju Games has crossed off the first major update of their roadmap for their terraforming survival game Planet Crafter. The new expansion mainly focuses on fish breeding and base automation with drones.
What is new
A brand new terraforming stage has been added to the game. After you brought oxygen to the planet you can start working on getting fish in the water.
You will get the ability to incubate over 10 different species in the fish farm and even display them in the newly added aquarium. The aquarium comes in multiple sizes.
By this point in the game, you might have a lot of drills and other stations running and it might get a little overwhelming. Luckily you can now craft drones at the drone station.
These are used to transfer items from a machine to a designated chest. They work all over the planet so if you have a base setup really far away from a drill that will be no problem.
The ore extractor T3 has been nerfed a bit. You can no longer put it down at your base and select the ore you want to mine for. Instead, you will have to place it in the correct cave that has the ore. It will still only mine that particular ore and nothing else unlike the T2 and T1. Of course, with the new drones, you can have it picked up and drop it off at your base.

Plenty of new crafting components have been added like the circuit board and mutagen T3 which are needed to craft the new drones and farms.
New rockets have been added to speed up the terraforming progress and to expand your map.
There are also new Steam achievements to get and secret areas to discover in the world.
Were you looking forward to the fish or the drones more? Let me know in the comments.
