Last April, Miju Games released update 1.0 for their world terraforming survival game Planet Crafter. They were considering adding new planets to play on as DLC at the time. It has been six months since, and they released the first paid expansion named Planet Humble, which adds an entire map half the size of the base game planet, with brand new biomes, machines to build, and secrets to find.
The gameplay is the same as what you came to expect from Planet Crafter, you produce pressure, heat, and oxygen to breathe new life into the world and transform it from a deserted wasteland to a lush and thriving ecosystem.
While the story starts out the same, you are a convict who is sent to this planet by Sentinal Corp with the goal of making this world inhabitable for humans. Where it changes is instead of uncovering remains from an ancient alien civilization, you find broken machines everywhere from a robotics company that rivals Sentinal Corp. Planet Humble is split up into a few large areas, a frozen cavern, a volcanic region, and in between where you find a lot of sand. While exploring these locations, you uncover what the robotics company was doing on this planet and why they no longer own the planet.

The DLC came with a few new resources and structures to build. You are able to find three different materials that can be crushed in an ore breaker, which has three tiers to speed up processing. Doing this will break them down into resources depending on the tier of ore you have. In the starting area, for example, you can find dolomite, which can be broken down into iron, silicone, and other base materials.
A small addition are two new types of foundations, one is a ramp and the other is a triangle, which are great for building your base.
This is what you can expect from the Planet Humble DLC, and if you love the base game, this is a great expansion to add to your collection.
What do you think about the new planet? Let me know in the comments.
