Today we will be taking a look at the newly released Sker Ritual. Sker Ritual is a round-based survival shooter game. If you are a fan of the Call of Duty Zombies you will most definitely enjoy this game. You can play this game either solo or with up to four players.

As of its launch, there is one map: Cursed lands of Lavernock. Over the next couple of months, we will get the next set of episodes. Each episode will contain new bosses, new enemies, new special abilities which are called miracles in the game, and many more items.

There is also a completely free battle pass called the Sker pass. This is where you will unlock cosmetics for your character, the main menu as well as voice lines, and menu music.

After killing zombies they have a chance to drop a random power-up which could be half-price, triple points, sudden death, the Power Charger which upgrades your weapon, and more. Half-price works on anything that costs points from the perk dispensers on the walls to doors and even weapons. There are two ways to obtain new weapons, you can give lucky the dog 900 points and he will give you a random weapon in return or you can visit the laughing policeman to purchase any gun in the game.

There are two ways of healing. You either walk away from the zombies and it will automatically restore your health or you drink from your healing bottle which has a cool down after using it, the same as the throwable. Every two rounds you survive you get a miracle coin. These coins are used to give your weapons special abilities like flame bullets or to make your bombs do poison damage. But this will also give you a new special ability that needs to be charged up.

Every five rounds a mini-boss will spawn who does not seem to scale like the other zombies making him pretty easy later in the game.

The game also has objectives. If you follow the objectives on the screen you will eventually get to the final boss and complete the level. To start, you need to make your way to the town of Lavernock where you need to destroy the power generators so you can unlock the door to head underground where you find out you need four cylinders. This is the point in the game where you can do the objectives in any way you like. However, once you get started on collecting one of them you need to complete that cylinder quest before you can move on. The objectives you need to complete for the four are all different. For one you need to heat up a furnace, for another, you need to charge a room, and for the last two, you need to escort a goat (to a totally safer place). And complete a four-picture lock puzzle with a purple lantern. After you’ve got all the cylinders head back underground to unlock the boss door and fight Abraham (The Final Boss). Abraham has a few attacks, he will put down landmines, pull you towards him, or charge at you. The floor will also heat up in random locations and this will damage you so watch out. Abraham does not have a lot of HP so it is not too difficult to kill him. After he is dead you can either leave the level or try and go for a high round.

My final thoughts on the game are that it is really fun, the map they have has a nice balance between narrow hallways and large open spaces to train the zombies and make it to a high round. I wish there were more levels already but the one we do have is rather large. And this is what Sker Ritual has to offer when you buy it right now.
