Steam Survival Fest launches today and runs for the whole week August 1-7 at 1 PM ET / 6 BST. The fest brings a lot of new survival game demos. If you don’t want to miss out on some interesting ones, I’ve put together a list of demos worth checking out.
Frozen Flame
Frozen Flame is back at it again! The previous game demo received lots of survival gamers attention during Steam Next Fest. This time, the developers have announced that players will be able to try a new demo with many new things to explore. If you haven’t tried the game yet, now is your best chance since Frozen Flame is expected to launch in Fall 2022.

Life Not Supported
Would you like to play something similar to Raft but in space? After your spaceship shatters into pieces, you need to gather nearby debris and expand your floating platform while surviving harsh space conditions. The Life Not Supported demo is very early in development and it is missing many core features. However, it’s totally worth giving it a shot if you want a glimpse of what you can expect during early access.

Survival: Fountain of Youth
After surviving a shipwreck, you end up on a 16th century Caribbean island. In this demo, you can explore one of the 20 islands that will be available in the full game. It might not look like much, but it has hours worth of content, especially if you play on the hard difficulty. I think Survival: Fountain of Youth is one of the most promising new hardcore survival games. If you like challenging games with in-depth survival mechanics such as Stranded Deep, Green Hell, and The Long Dark, you will most likely enjoy this one too.
