    Interesting Idea, Repetitive Gameplay

    • Pros
    • Unique concept
    • Relaxing vibe
    • Survival elements
    • Simple gameplay
    • Decent atmosphere
    • Cons
    • Very repetitive
    • Lacks depth
    • Slow progression
    • Rough mechanics
    • Limited content

I tried The Gold River Project because the survival gold hunting concept sounded interesting, but the gameplay got repetitive pretty quickly. Searching for resources and slowly building up your camp is relaxing at first, though after a few hours it starts feeling empty and lacking depth. It has some potential, but right now it feels more grindy than rewarding.
