    Borderlands Without the Borderlands Charm
    5
    • Pros
    • Decent fantasy setting
    • Character customization is nice
    • Cons
    • Lacks Borderlands charm
    • Humor feels weaker
    • Forgettable overall
    • Doesn’t stand out in the series

I went into this expecting Borderlands with a fresh fantasy twist, but somehow it lost most of the charm that made Borderlands fun in the first place. The gunplay is fine, but the humor, world, and overall vibe just didn’t hit for me – it felt more like a side project than a must-play entry. There’s a reason this game ended up being given away for free so often. Not terrible, just forgettable.

    Chaotic Fun
    7
    • Pros
    • Wild, creative weapons
    • Fun mix of magic and guns
    • Strong co-op experience
    • Great humor and style
    • Colorful, lively world
    • Cons
    • Story can feel messy
    • Combat gets repetitive
    • Difficulty spikes
    • Some humor misses
    • Not as deep as it wants to be

I played Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and had a blast tearing through its over the top fantasy world. The mix of Borderlands-style shooting with chaotic magic and silliness keeps things entertaining, and the humor usually lands. It’s not the deepest RPG shooter out there, but the wild weapons and co op play make it a fun ride.

The overworld approach was a nice change and made exploration feel different from the usual Borderlands maps. Character customization and class mixing were enjoyable, even if they didn’t always feel impactful late game. Endgame content is decent, but it didn’t keep me hooked for very long once the main campaign was over.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: A Short Review
    8
    • Pros
    • Fun and fast combat
    • Fun characters
    • Coop gameplay
    • Fun boss fights
    • Lots of side quests
    • Cons
    • Can get repetitive
    • Story is not that good
    • Some bugs and glitches
    • Some quests feel like filler
    • Enemies repeat a lot

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a fun and crazy first person shooter mixed with guns, magic, and comedy in a wild fantasy world. It is a cool game that does not take itself seriously and is filled with jokes, silly characters, and random moments that make it feel fresh and entertaining. The combat is like in any Borderlands game, fast and enjoyable, with a mix of spells, weapons, and skills that let you play the way you like. Exploring the world is fun too, there are a lot of dungeons, side quests, and funny stories along the way. If you enjoy previous Borderlands games I think you will enjoy this one too.

Fun Game - If you like Borderlands
    9
    • Pros
    • Silly fantasy comedy and humour
    • Lots of loot
    • Guns
    • Cons
    • Repetitive
    • Not everyone's type of game.

A very fun game which is basically fantasy borderlands with a zany fantasy humour. There’s lots of different loot that can be used to customise your loadout. But like many Borderlands games, this is best played co-op. Highly recommended if you like looter shooters and have a few friends! Did I mention there are dragons in the game? Dragons!

    Great Borderlands game
    8
    • Pros
    • Blend of shooter and RPG mechanics
    • Creative world-building
    • Character customization
    • Chaotic combat sequences
    • Cons
    • Some may find the humor a bit over-the-top
    • Repetitive side quests at times
    • Occasional technical hiccups

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is an imaginative spin-off from the Borderlands universe, blending the franchise’s signature looter-shooter gameplay with a whimsical, fantasy-inspired setting.
It’s perfect for players who enjoy humor, loot-based gameplay, and unpredictable world. If you’re looking for a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and offers hours of fun, this is a highly recommended title.

Frantic, fun and a cool theme!
    7
    • Pros
    • Colourful, creative world
    • Fun FPS
    • Humorous (but a bit cringy)
    • Unique characters
    • Great voice acting
    • Cons
    • Very fast, hyper gameplay
    • Again, the humour is a bit much and cringy

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland has a very colourful and imaginative world! The characters are unique, the voice acting is quite well-done, and it has a fun sense of humour (if not a little bit cringy and non-serious) It’s a very fast FPS filled with energy and chaos! It also works well as an RPG with levels, classes and side quests! It’s a whacky world to explore and have a hectic time with!

    • End-game is repetitive
    • Bugs

After Assault on Dragon Keep, we sit down with Tiny Tina again. The first one was loved so we say it again and shoot guns, swing swords and cast spells in a fantasy world with BL3 mechanics.

If you are a Borderlands fan like me and liked the mechanics of the third game, I think you can play it safely but this is a shorter and smaller game. If you have never played it, it will not be very meaningful as an introduction to the series, it may seem more like a nice fps tech-demo or you may like it and dive into BL3.
As a concept, we are playing Dnd, Bunkers & Badasses in the game (Dnd is just the theme, the gameplay is just the borderlands we know) so there is a nice character creation screen but again for this reason the things experienced are not “canon” and if you have played the series completely, we do not learn anything new about Tiny Tina.

I loved the map. We wander around as a small figure in the Overworld section, go to different places and do missions. The expansion of the map as the story progresses was very nice, especially our transition from the main city Brighthoof to the other map was very good. I think the places we went to were more complete and detailed than the previous games. The places we entered, the background views, everything looks very nice. Brighthoof was probably the biggest main location in the series.

The enemies and weapons are not very diverse but they did not bore us. I do not know much about the build and loot farm sections, I progressed smoothly with the things I found, it is completed without difficulty in intense difficulty.

The story is simple, the conversations are generally written for fun and entertainment, it would be better to know the previous games in order not to miss the references here and some of the characters we encounter. Also, what happened? Did BL3 Tina not catch on because it grew up and you made it smaller again in the new game… I think BL2 Tina is already peak Tina, you should have left it there, it had enough tragedy, but no, it became a cash cow…
There are stones that we break throughout the game upon the request of a character called Amnesiac. We listen to a piece of memory after each stone. In other words, she was the character and story that I was most curious about in the whole game, but from what I saw and looked at afterwards, it did not reach a conclusion, it made me sad.
I am waiting for the Borderlands movie to come out now, I hope it will be good

    • Pros
    • Great Comedy
    • Excellent Voice Acting
    • Fun Levels
    • Multiclassing
    • Awesome Aesthetics
    • Cons
    • Not Super Replayable
    • Gets Repetitive
    • DLCs Don't Add Much

This is the only game I’ve played in the Borderlands franchise, but I really enjoyed it! Tiny Tina is hilarious, and the table top game setting for it really suited the storyline. It’s okay by yourself, but even better with friends! The different zones are really interesting, and I think the entire aesthetic of the game is pretty spectacular. This game does get incredibly repetitive, so I don’t personally consider it very replayable, but it’s still worth buying and playing. I didn’t think the DLCs added much to the game and weren’t necesary, but does add a little if you are a completionist.

The Chaotic Realm of Tiny Tina
    8
    • Pros
    • Enchanting Aesthetics
    • Dynamic Gameplay
    • Quirky and Memorable Characters
    • Entertaining Soundtrack
    • Cons
    • Predictable Mechanics for Borderlands veterans
    • Limited Lifespan

Have you ever dreamed of playing a game that merges Borderlands with Alice in Wonderland? I haven’t, but Gearbox Software certainly has. Well, they’re a bit peculiar, those folks, but with their wacky idea, they’ve managed to concoct a marvelous game in a world, this time unlike any other Borderlands, a fantasy realm rich in colors and humor. So, join me and dive down the rabbit hole, letting yourself be swept away by the magical whirlwind of the famous “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.”

The game immerses you in the heart of an enchanting story woven with the characteristic extravagance of Tiny Tina. The tale kicks off with an unexpected event during a role-playing game. Tiny Tina, the master of ceremonies with whimsical ideas, takes the reins of narration and transports you to a fantastical realm where the rules of the real world are set aside. Through quests full of twists, characters as eccentric as memorable, and sharp dialogues, the narrative unfolds dynamically. The boundaries between reality and imagination blur, creating a scenario where the absurd and the epic intertwine, all while maintaining the Borderlands signature of quirky humor and frenetic action.

On the gameplay side, “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands” is characterized by frenetic action and well-orchestrated game mechanics. Players can create their own character, choose from various fantastic classes, and dive into thrilling battles. The arsenal, worthy of the Borderlands universe, offers a big variety of weapons with delirious effects (try the Blue Cake, it looks like a weapon straight out of Mad Max and Cyberpunk togather), and this is where you need to experiment and discover all their mechanics. The battles are dynamic and strategic, with special skills unique to each class, adding a tactical dimension to the fights. Quests, punctuated with puzzles and surprising encounters, contribute to maintaining a captivating pace. Whether exploring enchanting environments, solving ingenious puzzles, or facing oversized bosses, and I’m not mincing my words here (Dry’l, if you can hear us 😊).

In terms of artistic direction, the game’s graphics captivate with their vibrant aesthetic, infused with the Borderlands signature, featuring richly detailed fantastical landscapes, while the eccentric characters (a bit too many, but that’s what gives charm to the game) add a dose of originality. The cel-shading style brings this realm to life like an explosive fairy tale. The sound design accompanies the experience with a dynamic soundtrack and memorable sound effects.

While “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands” offers an overall captivating experience, a few points could tarnish the picture for some players. Despite the visual richness, some environments may lack variety, risking repetitive exploration. Finally, although the quirky humor is a trademark, at times it feels a bit forced. However, these negative points are nuanced by the game’s unique charm and should not compromise the overall experience for genre fans.

In conclusion, this game offers a fantastic and wacky adventure that will surely appeal to many players. Although some shadows may creep into this magical realm, the overall experience remains as wildly entertaining as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. An adventure where you’ll spend hours shooting arrows, casting whimsical spells, and exploring a world where laughter is the common currency. Get ready to dive into a world where chaos is king, and absurdity reigns supreme, for an adventure as unpredictable as the famous white rabbit. Wake up, Neo! (Got the reference?)

    It's good
    7
    • Pros
    • A setting in which you play the main character in a TRPG, which also appeared in the Bodalan 2 DLC.
    • Multi-class system
    • This system allows for more flexibility in building than in previous Bodalan games.
    • Levels can be quickly maxed out
    • Cons
    • The tempo is slow because of the encounter system. Not as fast-paced as past titles.
    • Deteriorated copy of the previous work

Game balance is good compared to past games. The level cap is low, so damage and enemy lives are not easily inflated. Weaker classes and under-used weapons tend to strengthened through update, which is better than past titles that left them completely unattended. However, some weapons and classes are strong as usual.

… Many lines that are easy on ears. It’s good.

    Summary

I think it lacks a sense of silliness and volume, I can play it with usual ambience. But it’s too early to reach the end content… Well it’s still fun but it’s not as good as the Borderlands series.

    • Pros
    • Graphics design is well done
    • Full carried on from Borderlands type
    • Dice roll game is original
    • Guns are amazing and awesome to use
    • Cons
    • A little difficult
    • Laggy sometimes but not every time

I LOVE THIS GAME as the game have the originality whereby the dice roll and your character becomes very small like a mini walking character, doing tasks there. Also, players can get weapons of their type by buying or earning it.

    Tiny Tina's Is a HIT
    9
    • Pros
    • The game is a blast!
    • A fresh take on the series
    • Voice acting and hilarious writing are 10/10
    • Tons of quests and plenty of content
    • Cons
    • The overworld camera view makes me feel weird.
    • Off and on issues with SHIFT connectivity (it's a new launch so..)
    • The music can be a bit drab and repetitive.

This game is a blast I have a near max character and I’ve been enjoying playing it soo much, I love the class combinations. New equipment slots, the idea of spells instead of grenades is awesome. Also, the endgame in this game is hands down the best in the series.
