    Fast-paced action in space

    • Pros
    • Very fast-paced and fun combat.
    • Lots of characters with different abilities.
    • Lots of missions and content.
    • You can play cooperatively with friends.
    • It's free to play.
    • Cons
    • It can be confusing for new players.
    • Some things take a long time to get.
    • The map and missions can feel repetitive.
    • The story takes a while to get interesting.

The combat is very fast and dynamic, with jumps, shots, and melee attacks that make each mission intense. It has a lot of content, weapons, and characters to unlock, so you always have something new to try. Although it can be a little complicated to understand everything at first, once you get the hang of it, it becomes a very entertaining game, especially if you play with friends.

    very good game

I’m a founder. I’ve played on and off for the last 12 years of the game’s life. I’ll play a lot, leave for weeks, months, one time a year(!), but it’s always comforting to be able to come back in and know I won’t miss any game content due to FOMO, due to limited-time this or that.

The game is free, the battlepass is free, the content updates are free. It’s gory, it’s (subtly-ish) queer, it’s 4 player with friends or randoms. Solo mode lets you pause, in most cases! DE continues to add to the game, like they’re bringing you a fresh tray of cupcakes. And they’ll keep doing that; more content, new content, weird content. Sometimes it lands flat on its face, sometimes it feels like a masterpiece. But it’s new and you’ll be able to do it no matter what.

Sure, DE will forget earlier content, those cupcakes go stale, but they’re still good cupcakes! And sure, the actual story content is single-player, the grind is RNG-based 90% of the time (thank you DE for adding pity mechanics), and region chat is…well…strange, to put it nicely. But most people are friendly, the important premium currency can be earned by trading with players, the other premium currency is either cosmetic only or helps you grind resources once every 8 hours or so with the extractors.

It’s a roundabout way of saying it, but yes. Play Warframe. Play with a friend. Play with a podcast or a TV show in the background. The grind is fun and, personally speaking, it only gets boring when you run out of inspiration on what to do next, but at least there’s always, ALWAYS something to shoot for.

    Warframe: Jump, Slash, Repeat

There isn’t much to say about Warframe that you probably don’t know, but let’s try it anyway. Warframe is a fast paced free to play sci-fi shooter where you play as a space ninja and honestly it’s a lot of fun. You start by equipping one of the bio-metal suits called Warframes, each with its own abilities and play styles, depending on what style of gameplay you prefer, whether it is slicing through enemies with melee or unloading futuristic rifles there’s something for every kind of player.

Something that really sets Warframe apart is how smooth and stylish everything is. For me the movement is one of the best parts wall running, sliding and gliding through levels feels amazing and combat is super fluid as well. There’s also a bunch of missions, weapons and Warframes to unlock so there is always something to be done.
The scale of the game is pretty impressive too. From battles in tight spaces to massive open world areas there is always something going on. One thing I appreciate very much is that the developers have added a ton of content over the years and they’re still updating it regularly. There’s also a really deep lore if you’re into that kind of thing, it’s not all just fast paced action.

And as always I have to mention some downsides, one of them is that Warframe can be overwhelming, especially for new players. There’s a lot to learn and the game doesn’t always explain things clearly, but since it is so popular worldwide you can always find help online. Also, it takes time to get into and some grinding is definitely part of the experience. But once you get the hang of it it’s definitely rewarding.

All in all, Warframe is a great free to play experience with a bunch of content and some of the most fluid movement and combat out there. It is perfect for players who love sci-fi action and don’t mind a bit of the grind. Also, it is free and coop what else could you ask for!

It is the only game I have ever played and wondered how it could be free. The reason I love the game so much is that it renews itself over time and keeps you hooked. After you finish everything, you can’t bear to delete the game because you don’t want to miss the updates that will come after you delete it. It is one of the best games in its genre. You should definitely give it a try.

    Amazingly Done Sci-Fi/Fantasy Mix

    • Pros
    • Beautiful graphics
    • Fluid combat
    • Fun to play with others
    • Cons
    • Very heavy sci-fi and action theme
    • Can get hyper and overstimulating

Warframe has really beautiful graphics! It mixes sci-fi and fantasy quite well (though I do wish it had more fantasy) The combat is satisfying and fluid, and it’s really fun to play online! At times it’s too action-heavy for me though, and I’m not the biggest fan of some of the sci-fi environments!

    • Pros
    • Space ninja combat is thrilling :)
    • Stunning visuals and design
    • Tons of content to explore
    • Multiplayer is chaotic fun
    • Lots of customization options
    • Cons
    • UI and systems feel overwhelming
    • Crafting timers are frustrating
    • Can feel pay-to-skip at times

Warframe is… well, it’s something. You’re a space ninja running, sliding, and flipping through the air while blasting enemies in fast-paced, action-packed missions. The combat and movement are slick—it’s one of the game’s best features. You really do feel like a sci-fi superhero zooming around! 🙂 But man, this game is massive. There’s so much to do—planets to explore, loot to gather, Warframes to unlock—but it can also feel overwhelming. Especially as a new player, it’s like the game dumps a truckload of options on you and goes, “Good luck figuring it all out!” :/

And then there’s the grind. Warframe really leans hard into making you work for your progress. Want a shiny new weapon or a cool Warframe? Be ready to farm parts across multiple missions, wait for crafting timers, and maybe even repeat the process if luck isn’t on your side. It’s satisfying when you finally get what you want, but sometimes it feels like the game is pushing you toward spending money just to skip the hassle. It’s frustrating, and it can really test your patience.

On the bright side, the game looks amazing. The Warframe designs are sleek and unique, the environments are varied, and every planet feels distinct. The game’s atmosphere is top-notch, even if the story feels scattered. Multiplayer is where Warframe really shines—it’s chaotic and fun to run missions with friends. Solo play works fine, but it lacks the same energy.

Overall, Warframe is a mixed bag, but a good one ! It’s fun and rewarding when everything clicks, but the grind-heavy progression and steep learning curve hold it back from being truly great.

    • Pros
    • A lot of story
    • Different worlds
    • Mixed clans and rewards given to Tenno/Player
    • Skills are awesome for different WarFrames
    • Community is bursting with clans and guides

Free-To-Play (F2P) game that is player-friendly and also interesting to play. At the start, players are spawned with a Warframe (A killing machine robot-like suit) which is transferring data from the human-brain at the ship. So technically, your soul is in this killing machine suit which has different skills to kill those monsters and enemies in the different worlds saving each node and conquering them.

    Warframe's Grindset
    7
    • Pros
    • Plenty of gametime
    • Lots of different playstyle options
    • Gun variety
    • Great movement
    • Cons
    • Lot of grinding required
    • Missions are kinda repetitive
    • High engagement required to keep up with meta

Warframe is just about the bona fide definition of an MMO, while still, somehow, diverting from that subtopic because of the way the market works.

From the get-go, Warframe has some amazing movement, to the point where you’ll sometimes be idle and still, somehow, be jumping all over the place as a kind of weird OCD habit. Additionally, combat feels incredibly smooth, specially for a Third Person Shooter. The several “Frames” that one person can have, which are essentially classes, are great, have different playstyles and abilities, and allows one to switch classes via grinding, while still keeping all the hard work they made on their original class, such as keeping their weapons and Modifiers.

On the other hand, as was stated before as a pro, the ability to grind for a new class is also a huge beast of burden. The game requires excessive amounts of grind time, even when compared to other shooter MMO’s such as Destiny 2. The grind itself is incredibly repetitive, with near to no variety in the mission’s one runs (Run from point A to point B while killing things, and wait a bit at the intermediary point C, while killing things). The sheer hours one has to spend to be able to get the new frames, which are more powerful than any previous one can make the game become more of a task than a hobby at some point. Lastly, one pretty annoying thing are the in-game purchases, which can pretty much let those who spend their bitterly earned money skip half of their grind.

Overall, I would argue it’s a fairly good f2p MMO, which can still grant you plenty of fun even if you aren’t planning on going too hardcore, but will realistically reach a ceiling if you don’t put everything you have into it.
