    Fun zombie gap filler
    6
    • Pros
    • Fast-paced zombie action
    • Huge hordes look impressive
    • Variety of classes to try
    • Cons
    • Weapons feel unbalanced
    • Dumb AI teammates
    • Not much long term replayability
    • Bugs and jank pop up often

Weapons are pretty unbalanced and the AI can be a real dumbass at times, but the game isn’t bad if you just want a quick co-op zombie fix. It works well as a gap filler between games like L4D2, Back 4 Blood or the Killing Floor series. Just don’t expect it to hold your attention for hundreds of hours – it’s fun for a while, then it runs out of steam.

World War Z: Aftermath: Even more Zombies
    8

After finishing the original World War Z I just had to try the Aftermath, if you haven’t played before, this is a quick, action-packed co-op shooter with a literal swarm of zombies. The game throws a ton of zombies at you, and it never gets old seeing them swarm like in the movie. There are missions in different parts of the world, such as Russia, Japan, USA, and the environments are so well done it will make you feel like you are really there.

Something I love about the game as always is the co-op. Playing with friends killing zombies, completing objectives and surviving against overwhelming odds is amazing. The class system is a nice touch, you can pick different play styles, whether you want to be a heavy gunner, a medic or support role. The new first-person mode in Aftermath is also a nice addition, now close quarter fights feel even more intense.

That being said, the game has some downs. The AI is decent, but not the best, and playing with random teammates can be frustrating. The game is also a bit repetitive at times, especially if you’re just repeating the same missions over and over. More variety in objectives and mission types would have been nice. It is not quite Left 4 dead, but compared to Back 4 Blood, this game the clear winner.

All in all, World War Z: Aftermath is a solid co-op shooter if you like fast-paced zombie action, that you can also play with your friends. And if you have ever played Left 4 Dead, and you are now here looking for something that could scratch that itch, this could be the perfect game for you. So look no further and go ahead and give it a try, kill a swarm of zombies or two.

    The gameplay is very good
    8

You are presented with the option to buy World War Z (standard base game) and its Aftermath version. The main difference between these two is the available campaigns, with only the first 4 campaigns available in the base game, and 11 in Aftermath. Additionally, Aftermath includes the XL Horde mode and the option to play in first-person mode on any level. Essentially, Aftermath is the complete game, while the base game serves as a way to try it out for yourself.

The gameplay is very good, there are no noticeable bugs while playing, although the ragdoll effect some enemies have is quite funny, especially when you eliminate them stealthily with a shot, and the occasional flying zombie. The game lets you change the side angle of your camera to optimize mobility, but it doesn’t allow this in first-person mode, which limits you a bit if you need to stay alert to corners. The level transitions could be improved if a continuous campaign was available, instead of finishing one level, going to the menu, and selecting the next level. The progression development is well balanced, although you will need to focus on your favorite class and weapon to have better progression. Lastly, the Horde mode is not very complicated, you just need to survive waves until you die, although it’s quite fun and challenging to play. With the XL mode, from Horde 20 onward, the game will struggle to spawn enemies, and the infected will move more slowly.

Many parts of the levels can become difficult if you don’t have a good strategy. The infected come in such large groups that they can wipe out your entire team. The game lets you choose from 5 difficulty levels, from easy to extreme. The extreme difficulty is only recommended if you have your character at max level, know the map well, and have a good team, but overall it’s well-balanced so you don’t get bored, providing a good way to balance out the monotony of repeating levels.

It’s very immersive and gives off the vibes of the movie, also staying quite faithful to the novel. The screams of the infected during horde moments are magnificent, you literally hear the scream of an entire army coming for you. However, regarding the graphics, the only flaw and something to improve would be the piles of corpses seen in the map environments. In some, the texture is too pixelated; it literally looks like a flat mountain.

One of the best zombie shooters. It’s hard but funny, there’s a lot of zombies and heavy guns to strike them down. It’s a good game. I believe that the developers could try to add more maps or maybe create a new World War Z. If they add more maps in different countries, it could be great. Imagine a map in Brazil, China, or some country on the any continent. They could take good advantage of this to make a unique game. I really hope they think about it in their next games. You can give a chance.

WWZ: Adrenaline Thrill, Brad Pitt's Nightmare !
    7
    • Pros
    • Non-stop action with a delightfully intense gameplay
    • Successful multiplayer modes
    • Dense content, covering campaign, multiplayer modes, and progression
    • Zombie hordes galore, just like in the movie (this is the most important thing)
    • Cons
    • AI isn't that good
    • Tediously dull objectives in the campaign mode
    • Classes have minimal impact on gameplay

Before diving into the zombie chaos of World War Z: Aftermath, let’s take a moment to remember what it truly means to survive a zombie apocalypse. Recall the epic film with Brad Pitt, where he juggled zombies like it was a Sunday afternoon in the park. Well, get ready to relive that intensity because World War Z: Aftermath puts you in the shoes – or should I say combat boots of our dear Brad. You’re about to experience the dream (or nightmare) of anyone who ever said, ‘I could totally survive a zombie apocalypse like Brad Pitt.’ Spoiler: It’s not as easy as it looks.

In zombie combat, you’re not stuck with basic tools. The game provides an envy-inducing arsenal, from shiny assault rifles to handcrafted melee weapons. The game offer diverse options for every playstyle whether you fancy a heavy machine gun for street-clearing or a silent sniper for a more subtle approach. With firearms, explosives, and clever gadgets, there’s always something novel to explore, and the sheer joy of mowing down hordes with your favorite weapon is unparalleled.

World War Z: Aftermath keeps you on your toes, taking you from New York to Moscow, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Marseille, and beyond, each city adding new layers of horror and survival. From cobbled streets in Rome to epic battles in the Colosseum and Vatican City, from Japanese refugees facing the cold in Kamchatka to a secret Kremlin bunker in Moscow, the game delivers a global zombie apocalypse experience. Whether escaping Manhattan skyscrapers, rescuing scientists in Jerusalem, or battling zombie hordes in Marseille’s French Riviera, every location intensifies the adventure.

If you think the zombie apocalypse is a solitary affair, the game is here to prove you wrong. Multiplayer is the pulsating heart of this experience, turning every zombie wave into a thrilling cooperative adventure. Facing zombies is much more intense when you do it with friends. Coordination is key, whether you’re devising strategies to save Vatican City or making your way through the dark catacombs of Marseille. So, gather your friends, because in World War Z: Aftermath, the apocalypse is always better when shared.

But everything isn’t rosy in the game. Despite the excitement of fighting zombie hordes and the frenzy of multiplayer, the game isn’t without a few shadows. Some aspects, such as the game’s AI and the somewhat monotonous objectives of the campaign mode, can sometimes overshadow the experience. However, these flaws are not necessarily deal-breakers and can be overshadowed by the thrilling overall experience the game offers to zombie survival enthusiasts.

If you’re looking for an immersive experience to face hordes of the undead with friends, this game might well be your ticket to a memorable adventure. Get ready for epic battles, tense escapes, and above all, to fight for your survival in a world ravaged by zombie chaos.

    • Pros
    • Frenético and fun
    • Multiplayer available
    • Cons
    • Graphics bad sometimes

If you liked Left 4 Dead or the World War Z movie this game is for you (In fact, it’s even better than the movie in my opinion).

It has 7 locations where each one has 3 or 4 scenarios. Each location is like a movie centered around a group of different survivors looking for a way to escape the zombie apocalypse. You will have to fulfill a series of missions or objectives to advance in the story and manage to escape.

The scenarios are very varied and unique, which offer us diverse situations and strategies in each one of them, the objectives are also very varied, ranging from placing explosives, looking for supplies, defending civilians to preparing defenses to withstand the attack of a horde among many others.

Help zombies zzzzzz. Do you want to be a hero and save the world against zombies and you love the blood gorge in this conceptual game? This game might be the ticket to your own pleasure LOL. Just to emphasize that blood gorge and violence in this game as the concept makes it more realistic.
