Great news for anyone who did not get the chance to play the comedy space survival game Breathedge 2! Developer RedRuins Softworks are extending the demo by a full week due to popular demand, so you have until March 10th to explore what this sequel has to offer.
Since this is a short look at the game, you can expect to play through the introduction and the first story mission, which picks up shortly after the previous game. There are various side quests to complete in the starting area and NPCs to meet. During these quests, you will have to fix a variety of objects, from cables to finding and installing new batteries in order to restore power.

Besides running and floating around for others, you can venture into space to harvest resources by hitting rocks or broken machines with a pipe. These materials can be used to craft new gear. These are the things you can expect to do in the demo. While building and exploring the cosmos in your spaceship will be part of the game, sadly, these features will not be available in this build. Most likely, because these mechanics will not be introduced until later. But what is on display will keep you busy for a few hours as you follow the comedic adventures of a chicken, a semi-mute bearded man, and their companions.
While the game currently has no release date, the developers are working on a roadmap and hope to reveal it soon. You can try the new Breathedge 2 demo on Steam.
If you’ve had the chance to try the game, how did you like it? Let me know in the comments.
