Eden Crafters Launches Into 1.0 with Plenty of Fresh Content

Planet Crafter-inspired survival game now offers 5 planets to terraform.

Eden Crafters has officially left Early Access and launched 1.0 update. The full release brings this survival and terraforming game to a bigger shape than before, with five planets now available in the base game and no DLC needed to reach them.

The 1.0 update adds new crafts, machines, buildings, equipment, and a fresh vehicle, while also expanding the game’s terraforming goals. Birds now play a part in that system, giving players another way to push a planet toward full habitability. There are also 40 Steam achievements to unlock, along with decorative items that let players build out bases with a more personal touch.

Several of the new systems look tied to deeper automation and progression. The advanced workbench can queue tasks and handle required sub-parts on its own, while the updated conveyor tools make machine setups easier to manage. New additions such as the Centrifuge and Magnetizer also expand what players can produce, including rare materials like Emerald and advanced energy parts.

The release also adds a few more ways to shape the world with the bird incubator that lets players hatch and release birds into the environment, while the terraforming amplifier boosts the effect of terraforming structures. Another major addition is the Fertilizer Spaceship, which spreads fertilizer from above to help plant growth across the land below.

Echo prime now includes more lore through eight locations, and the other planets have been updated with Emerald caves and new ore placement. Small improvements, bug fixes, better translation support, and quality of life changes such as Take All and Store All buttons round out the update. Older saves may also unlock several achievements at once, depending on how far players had already progressed.

The studio says 1.0 is only the start of the game’s next phase. Planned updates include custom spaceship creation, a blueprint system, Steam Workshop support, interplanetary travel, character customization, and gamepad control options.

Eden Crafters is available on Steam and offers a 20% launch discount until May 21, 2026.
