Today we will be taking a look at the closed beta for Forever Skies. This is the end part of the tutorial as I skipped most of it in the video to avoid story spoilers.
This demo has a time limit of 20 minutes and it activates as soon as we fly off in our airship. With a scanner found a little earlier in the tutorial, you can scan certain objects like walls that can be broken down for synthetic, metal, and glass components. There is also a lot of stuff to pick up and collect that will give you the same materials. These three materials are the basic items to craft everything in this beta from the ship’s engine to a chest.
When we are airborne, the goal is to visit and loot the towers that are indicated by a blinking light. At these locations, we can find more blueprints/recipes and solid-state batteries needed to make more advanced tools and ship parts.
The first demo might be short but it gives a good first look into the game. Have you played it? What are your thoughts on Forever Skies?
