Developer Hotta Studios has revealed the release date for the upcoming free-to-play shared open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy. The game will launch on August 10th for IOS, Android, and PC in 2022.

Tower of Fantasy is set on a futuristic alien planet called Aida that humanity found after they nearly depleted the earth of all its recourses and energy. While on this new planet they manage to create a catastrophic disaster. 

Explore the vibrant world of Aida set hundreds of years in the future as a variety of different characters. Each character has their own unique weapons that make their play style unique to one another. You can test your combat against enemies of all different sizes, from small boar-like creatures to large robotic enemies. You can hold three different weapons at a time and switch your character’s weapon on the fly making for some exciting combat scenarios. 

Mobility in a large open world is crucial, and Tower of Fantasy has multiple ways to get around the planet of Aida. For long stretches of land, you can drive around on a futuristic motorcycle, while for different elevations you will be able to use a jetpack to get around.

And for water transport, you can use a jet board, which is a surfboard with a jet. You can even use it to damage enemies on the water.

A more unique feature Tower of Fantasy has is the ability to upgrade your characters with simulacrum technology. This will unlock their “Form II” which unlocks a brand new skin for both the character and their weapon. We can assume this comes with a power boost as well, or else it sounds like a fancy way of unlocking a skin.
