Hello Games’ space exploration survival game No Man’s Sky just passed its 9th anniversary, and to celebrate, the devs released Update 6.0: Voyagers. It introduces new spaceships, missions, and multiplayer crews.
By visiting the Corvette workshop, you will be able to construct a large spaceship. There are over 100 rooms and parts to choose from, ranging from different types of jets to a bedroom, a kitchen, a farm, and more. How you design and decorate it is up to you. In order to build them, you’ll have to unlock them. This can be done by finding the pieces on various planets and scanning them or by trading for them with merchants. These rooms also serve a function. The aforementioned kitchen and farm speak for themselves, but the refiner unit is capable of refining while in transit, while the mission control is used to access new quests. These send you to a planet to harvest resources, gather food, or find treasures. If you are looking to create something along the lines of a warship, you can do this as well, as there is a wide selection of cannons.

This new ship has a few advantages over the already existing smaller ones. It is your own personal mobile outpost, you and your friends can fly it together as a crew. You can even leave a Corvette ship in the middle of space, allowing you to float around and explore anywhere. If you hear your friends having too much fun back on the ship and feel left out, you can engage autopilot and join them.
The Voyagers update also introduces a new five-piece spacesuit to No Man’s Sky, which can be combined with others to create a unique look. Completing the Corvette expedition rewards the player with a new robot pet, the Mecha Mouse. This adorable metal beast comes with a headlight you can turn on and off.
What do you think of the new Corvette ships? Let me know in the comments.
