Medieval Dynasty Adds Many New Features to Oxbow Map in the Autumn Update

The combat rework is here!

Render Cube has released the highly anticipated Autumn update for the town-building survival game Medieval Dynasty. The update introduces new quests, decorations for your village, an improved clothing system, combat changes, and more weapons.

A few new bandit types now roam the map and will ambush you on sight. However, this might be a great time to test out the expanded arsenal. You can craft shields, battle axes, swords, picks, maces, and daggers. This adds many new combat options as you try out the reworked battle mechanics and listen to the new combat songs. With so many weapons available, you can now build a rack to store and display them all.

But that’s not all. This update brings a variety of new decorations to place around your settlement, including family crests, banners, signs, fences, and gates. These are perfect for enhancing your farms.

If you’ve been playing on the Oxbow map, get ready to work around the seasons when planting your crops. If you have a villager handling your farming, you can now instruct them on what to plant and when. Seasonal events from the original map have also been added to Oxbow, along with a few new ones.

Some new outfits, like dresses, have been added to the game. You can also give your clothing a personal touch by dyeing it in many different colors directly from your inventory screen, allowing every player to create a unique appearance. If you want a haircut that complements your new style, a barber is available in both Oxbow and the Valley, where you can change your character’s appearance. Since this update focuses heavily on player customization, the developers have added an option to hide your current equipment. This way, you can still wear the best gear without compromising your look. However, it is not all fun and games, as now your clothes and armor will lose durability when taking damage.

What are you most excited about the new update? Let me know in the comments.
