Angela Games has unveiled more details about the highly anticipated map for Myth of Empires. The upcoming DLC will introduce a Persian-inspired world with ancient tombs, caves, and unique building components.
Ancient tombs and caves are some of the new locations that can be found on the Persia map and will offer valuable resources and treasures for you to discover. Spider caves are mostly dark and narrow, lit only by scattered fluorescent ores that create a dim glow. Therefore, the light from your torch will be crucial for your survival. Dense webs will obstruct your path and make exploration difficult.
The developers have added a “ghost” character based on an ancient legend that tells of a hidden path to immortality beneath the land. Many people, in their desperate search to uncover this secret, lost their minds and became trapped underground. As you explore tombs, you may encounter “ghosts” if you wander into the areas where they hide. These hostile enemies attack anyone who enters their territory.

Angela Games drew inspiration from the ancient Persian city of Persepolis, built by the Achaemenid Empire, to create distinctive Persian building components in Myth of Empires. They incorporated various towering columns and terraced platforms into the game, reflecting the Persian architectural style of that era. Some decorative elements, such as the bull and lion motifs that signified strength in ancient Persian culture, have also been added to create an authentic style.
The developer is also working on more types of caves, such as plant caves filled with poisonous gas, as well as sandworm caves with intricate underground tunnels. They are creating more advanced Persian-style buildings to offer more construction options.
The Myth of Empires Persia DLC is set to release later this year.
