Starry Studio has released their massive free to play survival MMO Once Human. Before you dive into a massive 256 square kilometers world, here are a few things to know.

Cross-save functionality is available across platforms, except for Steam, due to technical constraints. The developers will be looking into this issue at a later date. However, for now, you are only able to switch between mobile and their own launcher, Loading Bay. So if you prefer to switch between devices, it is recommended playing through Loading Bay instead of Steam for the time being. Cross-play between any version is supported, just make sure you and your friend are logged into the same server.

The PvE and PvP servers offer a very similar experience, with the PvP server featuring reduced PvE content. This includes large bosses you have to take down by working together. On the flipside, to balance out the gameplay, there are some PVP-orientated missions to complete in the PvP Scenario. Besides raiding other players’ bases, there are resource points across the map that you can claim, but once you do, you will have to defend it as well. Another mission involves the player transporting cargo while other people have to stop you from doing so.

Seasonal rewards will be the exact same across both game modes, so you will not need to play both to get everything. The blueprints, cosmetics, furniture formulas, and weapon accessories you unlock during a season can be used on public servers in the next season. Anything else, however, will be relocated to the player’s personal domain, known as Eternaland. You can learn more about seasons in our previous article.
