Last year, a game code named ParadiZe Project was announced by Development Team Eko Software. The good news is that it’s no longer just a project, as it now has an official name: Welcome to Paradize.
Eko Software is no newcomer to the zombie genre of games, as they have released the very popular How to Survive series. With Welcome to Paradize, they have picked up a new publisher, Nacon, who just released Robocop: Rogue City.
Welcome to ParadiZe takes a totally different take on the zombie story. Zombies are still around and are still a threat, but Tusk Industries founder, billionaire genius, playboy, and philanthropist Jeff Tusk, invites you to ParadiZe, where your survivalist troubles can be put to rest.
Using Tusk Industries’ innovative Zombot® Hacking Helmet, you can take control of any zombie and live through the apocalypse in a little corner of paradise with your feet up!
You and up to four friends can play in this story-driven open world, where you must survive through combat, crafting, defending your camps, and zombie hacking.
In this isometric survival game, you can roam the apocalyptic world solo, but what’s the fun in that when you can gather some zombies, slap a Zombot helmet on them, and have followers to assist you? But just beware, even though they are now friendly, they still aren’t that smart.
Luckily, your new zombie friends will help you to gather materials from around the world as you build a base full of traps, and let the other zombies come to play in your amusement park of doom.
But also watch out! This game is setting a new standard with the world’s first circus zombie elephant named Daisy.
Welcome to Paradize is set to release on February 29th, 2024, on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Are you going to explore the world solo, or with friends? What shenanigans are you going to do with your Zombots? Let me know in the comments below.
