Awaken Realms has revealed a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon on The Future Gameshow during Gamescom 2022.

This is the first real look at the game since the cinematic trailer they released a few months back. The trailer starts in a void with brick floating in creating paths and walls. We get a first look at the combat in the game. You will be able to wield both a shield to block and a sword to attack, if this is not your style you can also use a two-handed weapon. A few different locations are shown that we will be able to explore, a ruined city gate, a large underground crypt filled with living human enemies for a change, a deep mineshaft, as well as a few random locations.

The trailer shows a glimpse of the leveling system. When defeating enemies you will be rewarded with experience and by leveling up you gain perk points you can spend on upgrades.

It seems there are some mysterious dark powers at play in this world called the wyrdness. Wyrdness is a fog that can merge and bend objects or even living beings.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is set to release in Q4 2022 on Steam.
