IndieGale has updated their survival horror game Vorax with the most terrifying monster yet, including new areas, quests, and more. 

Prepare yourself for a thrilling challenge as Vorax introduces a plethora of fresh items, mechanics, weapons, and tools that will push your survival abilities to the limit. The new elements are designed to test your skills and keep you on your toes, so get ready to dive into a world of adventure, horror, and excitement.

There was a classified experiment conducted on the island in a mysterious biolab, where rats and spiders were genetically spliced together as part of a project named “the ultimate coronavirus vector”. However, the project did not go as planned. The situation took a horrifying turn when they were exposed to the deadly “V Virus”, resulting in no survivors except for the terrifying creature they created, the arachnorats. Part rat and part spider, I would not want to come across this monstrosity. They are immune to sunlight and will attack the player on sight. Groups of these rodents can be found in various locations around the map.

The update also includes new locations to explore, expanding the map by 1 square kilometer.

Players can now search through various containers such as baskets, car dashboards or trunks, garbage bags, etc., and discover valuable loot. The glowing growths can now be broken down, giving you a biomass-like material that can be used for various purposes. Additionally, the game has introduced new quests, mainly focusing on the Tech Guy Quest in Sanctuary. 

To make things easier for players, the developers have added a new cheats console that is cleaner and more user-friendly. Some of the animations where you run with curtain weapons have been polished up.
