Drago Entertainment has offered an in-depth look at their recently added building system for Winter Survival. After playing the demo earlier this year, the feature to build your own house never crossed my mind, but I am glad it’s included in the game.

What started as flat, textureless, and simple shapes have turned into a beautiful and detailed wooden built set.

After finalizing the concept art, the developers began the process of creating their vision into actual game assets. Every texture was carefully crafted to capture the essence of survival and immerse players in a realistic wilderness experience.

As players progress through the game and gather better resources, they’ll be able to upgrade their shelter, enhancing its durability and cold protection. The building possibilities are only limited by the player’s own creativity and imagination, Drago Entertainment claims.

Game development isn’t all serious business, and the team had a lot of fun creating the building system. From playing Fortnite within Winter Survival to recreating their own office. These moments have kept the team laughing and inspired even during the most challenging times.

In addition to the building system, the game will feature a formidable adversary, the bear. Surviving in the harsh winter environment is a challenge in itself, but the addition of this apex predator will keep players on their toes and add an extra element of danger.

We can expect more details about this beast in the upcoming announcement as it will provide an in-depth analysis of the bear’s behavior, interactions, and recommended strategies for taking on this opponent.
