Today, the developers over at Iron Gate announced they have surpassed 10 million copies sold of their hit survival-crafting game Valheim.

Valheim was released in early February 2021 and was a hit right out of the gate with a lot of people making videos, fan art, and much more.
Even with this great start, the developers did not expect to sell this many copies, saying “when we launched the game we could never in our wildest dreams have imagined this!”

But what does this mean for the future of Valheim? They doubled their development team and they are currently working on the next big update that will add a new biome “The Mistlands”
