Core Keeper has just released its first big update since its release on March 8, 2022. The Sunken Sea update comes with many new items, enemies, and even a new biome to explore.

The sunken sea is the next biome in line to be explored. The new location mainly consists of ocean and sand terrain. Since there is so much water in this biome, the boat was added for traveling the sea. Now you can cross the water with ease and fight the new water bases enemies that inhabit the ocean.

A new boss Omoroth the sea titan has been added for you to defeat and add to the collection alongside a new side boss Morpha the aquatic mass.

With a new biome, there will of course also be new ores to collect. The sunken sea is no different. You will be able to find a new ore called “Octarine” in the caves that are found in the ocean. New ore also means new armor and weapons, of course, and oh boy does this update bring new crafting items. Over 60 new weapons and armor can be crafted and over 20 new decorations for your new beach house are added to Core Keeper.

New workstations have been added, such as the bait workbench, a new jewelry workbench, a table saw, and of course the new octarine workbench to craft the newly added items.

Farming has been made easier with the new sprinklers so you do not have to water the crops yourself any longer.

Probably the biggest item that people requested is finally here, a teleporter! You can set up a teleporter at your home base and another at the destination you want to be at. No longer do you have to run or lay down a massive railroad system to get anywhere. This is probably my favorite new addition to the game so far.
