A survival-sandbox game, Honeycomb is set on an extraterrestrial world teeming with life. The Earth as we once knew it is no longer. The once-abundant animal population has disappeared, the waters have dried up, the lush forests have withered away, and the natural resources have almost all been depleted. The Eco-Apocalypse has already begun. People have migrated underground after finding life on the surface to be, at best, precarious.
After many years, science has exhausted its options with regard to this essentially dead rock. Several royal families have been recruited by the government to go on a mission that just might preserve humanity.
Your group, the Daredevils, has been selected to go through rigorous and stressful training so that you are ready to visit an alien world.
Are you ready to explore the planet of Sota7?
We have only seen sketches and blockouts of what we might experience over the past year, but today they have pulled back the curtain and are revealing some of those regions.
The Nenu Grove is the first location.
A quiet location inspired by the mangrove forest and Japanese Gardens. You’ll follow the river upstream until you reach a massive waterfall in the heart of this area, which appears to be rather serene. However, the mangrove forest’s dense undergrowth and the Japanese gardens’ well-kept appearance conceal a risky task because the local wildlife is a little aggressive and unwelcoming to outsiders.

The Ash Woods, a region with a lot of fertile soil, is the next stop. Water-loving animals thrive well in pools of water that are too warm. The black sandy beaches, which were inspired by the volcanic beaches of Iceland, are framed in the distance by menacing basalt rocks surrounded by volcanic sand.
Want a place to practice mindfulness? The Stem Sanctuary is the only place to go. The thin trees here resemble earthbound bamboo, but they seem to weave together to create a kind of impenetrable wall. The more aggressive predatory creatures appear to give this area a wide birth and make it reasonably safe and quiet, where all kinds of friendly snouted animals may be found.
An unprepared or unknowing explorer may find himself gasping for air and collapsing far from base camp while exploring this new planet due to atmospheric anomalies like a toxic fog. You are the last hope for humanity, therefore be ready and vigilant.
Here’s something great: without cool vehicles to travel about, what sci-fi futuristic survival game would be complete? Honeycomb has you covered with a stylish hoverboard that will get you shredding around Sota 7 while also making you look cool.

The developers at Frozen Way are creating these biomes in phases, starting with a simple outline of new places and adding placeholders for basic shapes for the landscape that will later be enhanced by the designers. Building a beautiful, engaging environment is not an easy operation. By using this method, a desolate area can transform into a stunning, verdant jungle in the blink of an eye.
Last but not least, the skies and weather patterns are another aspect that is frequently disregarded. The world’s light and shadow patterns will alter as a result of the clouds’ natural steady buildup and dissipation, which will result in various atmospheric changes.
The development team wants to make sure they have our attention by enticing us with a world we want to explore.
Have they got your attention? They have mine.
What biome are you interested in exploring first? Let me know in the comments below.
