EFNSoft, an indie game developer based in Turkey, has released their debut co-op survival game Nowhere: Mysterious Artifacts, which is the first chapter in their multipart series.

The game takes place in September 1993, when four friends’ journey into uncharted territory in search of a mysterious artifact. But what they find is enough to test any man’s mettle, for on this island it doesn’t take too long to realize that something just isn’t right. The area is the site of the infamous Root experiment, where a few scientists tried to play God and may have just fractured the whole world order. There are many stories of those who have entered this area, but never to have returned.

Nowhere is a game that does not hold your hand, as you must adapt to the hostile environment and do everything it takes to survive. Luckily, you can bring up 3 friends to help you in your journey.

You will need to build a shelter to protect yourself from the elements as you experience the seamless weather conditions that are going to alter the way you play and will create a unique, dynamic story of survival. Choose the right time to go out exploring and maybe give yourself an advantage in the challenging conditions. Rain, wind, and snow have their own challenges to overcome.

Space is limited; learn to harvest the area around you and make a backpack to assist in your travels; build and upgrade your shelters while you improve your living condition. You must always focus on your health, food, water, and even your sanity in this bizarre place filled with strange anomalies and even zombies, or whatever this experiment has caused the local residents to turn into.
