Len’s Island Announces Final Early Access Roadmap

A new Arctic biome, multiplayer support, hardcore mode, and more.

Flow Studio has shared their plans about what we can expect over the coming year for survival game Len’s Island. Multiple major content updates, the long awaited multiplayer, a hardcore mode, and more.

During the final months of 2023, we will get to the Harvest Moon update and later a localization expansion.

The Harvest Moon event will take place every 7-10 in-game days, where players can collect abundant resources and fend off enemy attacks. Defensive towers like Ballista Towers and player-aimed Cannons will help protect the outposts. The new buildable portals will allow you to teleport to every town.

Gathering basic supplies like lumber and metal will be more effective, as a different way of harvesting will be introduced in the upcoming update. Also, a new harvesting material will be added, and it will drop from rabbits upon death.

You will also be able to purchase Four Resource Mining Outposts. These can be found on three new islands that will be randomly generated. While they are a great way to gather extra resources, they will be vulnerable to enemy attacks during the new Harvest Moon event. So make sure to build a few of the new defense structures to protect your mines.

The language update won’t just come with a lot of new localizations for the game but also a slew of new content. Like sheep that drop wool that can be used in the new loom to make silk or Glowbugs that can be found in caves, including new high-tier decoration items.

Len’s Island will also be getting full Steamdeck support, so you can survive on the road.

Len's Island Roadmap

In 2024, we can expect two major expansions, with one of them being the full release of the game.

The first of which will add a massive new Arctic biome that can be accessed by boat or portal. There will be several new enemies and animals, along with many new resources and items. A new weapon and tool tier will be available that uses Damascus steel to craft along with a katana. What is a snowy location without a sled? This new vehicle makes exploration in the new area way faster. If all that was not enough, this is also where you will find the next major boss of the game.

Not much was spoiled about the full release of the game. However, we can expect to play it around July, and it will introduce co-op play, as well as a hardcore mode.

What update are you looking forward to most? Let me know in the comments.
