The game combines intense first-person combat, crafting, survival elements, and nonlinear storyline set in an interactive environment where the player’s actions shape the story.

Forest Reigns takes place in Paris, where a pandemic devastates humanity, destroying most of its species. Five years after the apocalypse, the world is taken over by a living, mutated forest and its deadly creatures. Players must adapt to survive in this ever-changing world as the forest reacts to their behavior. If you attack it, the forest fights back; but if you’re careful, it might even turn against your enemies. Players who manage to understand and interact strategically with nature will be able to use its power to help them survive.

A player takes on the role of a survivor who aims to uncover the secrets of a mysterious world through a variety of missions. You can choose to battle foes and environmental hazards alone, or side with one of four factions. Each faction has its own vision for the future of humanity, and joining one will impact the game’s outcome. Your choices throughout the game will affect how the story ends.
