The Planet Crafter Introduces Two New Planets in Its Biggest Update to Date

Terraform a new exotic planet.

Over the last year, since Miju Games has released many major expansions to their terraforming survival game Planet Crafter, including their first DLC, it turns out this was not anywhere near their max potential as they just released the biggest update yet, introducing interplanetary space travel, two new moons to explore, and a lot of new structures and equipment to craft.

The bread and butter of the Moons update is the introduction of Selenea, an icy and barren place that plays similarly to the already existing planets and can even be chosen as a starting location. Aqualis, on the other hand, can only be accessed after reaching the endgame on any of the other planets. This can be done by constructing an interplanetary spaceship, which will also allow you to travel between the rest with any items you can fit in your backpack and the rocket. This makes terraforming them a lot quicker, as you keep any unlocked recipes as well.

These new locations also come with their own ores, which are needed for the moon exclusive recipes. Selenium can be found on Selenea, and phosphorus on Aqualis. These unlockables consist of better versions of already existing structures, for example, a T2 wind turbine, a T3 fish farm, animal food, etc. Terraforming individual planets is fun and all, but now that you are freely allowed to travel between them, a new form of TI is introduced. SysTI tracks how much you have terraformed across the entire system.

Similarly to a planet, you will unlock new recipes once you meet a certain threshold. Here you can unlock a T7 backpack and other things that help you on your interplanetary journey, like a cargo rocket, so you can send your resources between them with ease.

Which of the new planets do you find more interesting? Let me know in the comments.
