Rebellion has published a new gameplay trailer for their highly anticipated action survival game, Atomfall. It depicts the many locations you can explore, various weapons, and enemy camps.
The quarantine zone is a vast place where you can roam and find points of interest to loot, from the underground research facility where you start to vast mountains, large cities, and dense forests. Many of these places would be perfect for relaxing and taking in the picture-perfect view. However, danger lurks around every corner. There are hordes of rats on land, flesh-eating fish in the rivers, facilities with electrified floors, murderous cultists, and, depending on your dialogue choices, even the guard bots in towns will attack.

Luckily, the game provides plenty of weapons to protect yourself. There are old firearms; however, ammo is hard to come by. The stun baton, bow, or axe might be a safer option, and if all else fails, you can craft Molotovs. These might come in handy when raiding a cultist camp. These places are surrounded by wooden walls and have log-swinging traps at the entrance, making it hard to get inside but possibly less effective in the damp cave system. This is also where we get a look at a new enemy: a pale-skinned humanoid similar to the cannibals in the game The Forest. What sets this one apart, however, is that its chest and eyes emit a blue glow.
Atomfall is now available for pre-order and will launch on March 27 on Steam and both old and new-gen PlayStation/Xbox consoles.
