Bohemia Interactive has released the highly anticipated The Secrets of Livonia update 1.19 for their survival game DayZ. This is the biggest update since the release of their first DLC back in 2019. 

Explore new locations

The DLC map of Livonia got a massive upgrade with plenty of new locations to visit and loot. Explore small places like the new hunting cabins or forest camps to the new villages found on the map. But be on guard as new environmental dangers have been added as well. For those with a keen eye, a few of these new areas have puzzles for the player to solve. If you want an adventure then this update has got your back. Explore the new massive underground bunkers and uncover what they have to hide. In total there are a dozen or so new locations for you to discover.

New vehicle 

The developers have spent a lot of time changing and fine-tuning the new vehicle controls. They did note it is not completely finished yet but it should be leagues better than the old system. With these changes, the cars got new HUD elements as well as a hand brake for some quick stops. There is also a new military truck in the game. The M1025 is the first drivable military vehicle in DayZ and will be lightly armored.

Minor changes and Halloween event

This update also came with a ton of small additions. Like new clothes or two new firearms. The SSG 82 rifle and the BK-12 shotgun which come with a sawed-off variant. Onscreen bleeding effects, new in-game modding tools, and plenty of other additions.

It is the Halloween season and DayZ is dressing up the place with spooky decorations. This event is active right now and will last until the 14th of November 2022.
