Dambuster Studios just revealed what players can expect from their first major paid expansion for the zombie squasher Dead Island 2. This will be the first story DLC for the game with a new area to explore, crazy weapons to craft, and skill cards to upgrade your character with.

Embark on a journey as you investigate a mysterious cult. In this new adventure, you will face a techno-death cult led by an anonymous figure known as Konstantin, who prophesizes a new future for humanity.

“Haus” is a new location of the game coming with this DLC, it is a mysterious and stylish ocean-side villa in Malibu. This nightmarish place offers protection for those who seek it, but it also hides a dark secret. They have a machine that strips away flesh and harvests the soul. You will have to navigate through the twisted labyrinth of biomes.

To survive this new horrifying area, the developers give players access to new zombie (or human) slaying tools, including the K-ROSSBOW, which is a long-ranged weapon with pinpoint precision and explosive firepower. The Hog Roaster is the ultimate tool for players who like crazy weapons, as it allows you to butcher and barbecue zombies simultaneously. In addition, there are also eight new skill cards to expand your options in battle

Dead Islands’ new DLC Haus will be available for PlayStation®4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store on the 2nd November.
