Don’t Starve Together is set to reach a new audience as its Pocket Edition launches on July 21 alongside a new trailer, bringing the cooperative survival experience to Android and iOS. The mobile version aims to deliver the same core experience while making it playable on the go, bringing with it all the original’s beloved mechanics.
Players are dropped into The Constant, a mysterious wilderness populated by strange creatures, hidden dangers, and secrets. But survival involves more than avoiding monsters. Gathering resources, crafting tools, building shelters, and maintaining food supplies are all essential to staying alive as the environment becomes increasingly unforgiving.
Multiplayer remains central to the experience. Gamers can join friends in private games or connect with others online. Working together makes it easier to divide responsibilities, from gathering materials and farming to defending settlements and exploring dangerous regions. Those who prefer to play alone can still do so, although the challenges remain just as demanding.
The mobile version also includes the game’s varied roster of playable characters. Each survivor has a unique backstory and playstyle, encouraging different approaches to exploration, combat, and resource management. Choosing a different character can significantly change how each playthrough unfolds.

Exploration is another major part of the experience. As players venture deeper into The Constant, they’ll uncover clues about the world’s origins while searching for ways to survive its dangers. Building a reliable settlement, crafting improved equipment, and managing both physical and mental well-being remain key to playthrough success.
Not only does the game support both private and public servers, but it also includes customizable world settings that let you adjust a variety of gameplay parameters, allowing you to tailor the difficulty to your preferences. Cosmetic items will be available through optional in-app purchases without affecting gameplay like on PC.
The Pocket Edition for Don’t Starve Together is now available on Google Play and App Store.
