Last month, Forever Skies released the huge Viral Evolution update, which overhauled the immunity and viral systems and added new items along with new locations to explore. Now, Forever Skies has enticed us with more information for their next two upcoming updates.

With the holiday season upon us, it is only fitting that the team over at Far From Home share some of the holiday cheer with the Frozen Wishes Holiday event. It’s supposed to bring a limited time quest with new variations of locations, some new items, and unmentioned new game mechanics, along with a slew of quality of life improvements that are sure to fill us with holiday cheer.

It is expected that we will be able to see holiday decorations in some of the locations, and even will be able to decorate our Airship, such as adding a Santa.

The second planned update early next year is the Airship Gardening Update. It seems we will be able to produce our own plant life right on our ship.

This feature will not only allow us to grow our food, but also use some for medicinal purposes, paint cartridges, and even more decorations.

The update is also supposed to bring with it more of the Forever Skies story line, new locations, items, and, of course, more quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

The developers mentioned that one of the most requested additions to the game, Co-Op Play, is still being worked on. Far From Home also wants the player’s input and has a survey that you can fill out to let the team know what features to prioritize to make Forever Sky even better.
