The popular backyard survival game Grounded, developed by industry veterans Obsidian Entertainment, had a huge announcement at the Xbox & Bethesda games showcase 2022. After being in early access for nearly two years, and 12 big content updates, the full release is coming this September.

It is time to gear up because a new powerful Mantis boss is coming to Grounded. Making this the third boss that has been released in Grounded. The Mantis is an enemy that was highly requested by the community and will finally show up, but it might be your undoing.

By the sounds of it, the upper part of the yard will consist of multiple biomes. But this could also mean that the upper yard itself is huge and seen as one area. Either way, it has been stated that the upper yard will be pretty big.

It is time to grow up! In version 1.0 we finally get the full story of why (or by whom) you have shrunken down to the size of an ant. Let’s just hope we can also find a way to grow back to size again.

When update 1.0 releases Grounded will also increase in price from $29.99 to $39.99 so make sure you get it before the game gets more expensive. Grounded is also part of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, so if you have those you can try out the game on those.
