If you are waiting for the release of Nightingale on February 22nd, 2024, then you probably know of the upcoming stress test. Here’s what to expect and how to get a chance to participate in this massive experience.

During this test, players will enter a tailored version of the game that skips the initial tutorial section. Each player will also have upgraded gear and tools, along with a variety of recipes already unlocked, enabling them to immediately join and play together in the realms.

The purpose of this upgraded start and the playtest itself is to provide players with a preview of what to expect at the official launch and to evaluate how the server handles numerous players logging in simultaneously. It will help identify potential bottlenecks and test the team’s ability to rapidly scale up access during periods of high player influx.

Will there be hiccups? More than likely. Will things break? Probably. But don’t worry; that’s precisely why the Nightingale team is conducting the test – to ensure the best possible first-time experience at launch.

Since there is no NDA, you can freely stream the game and share your experience on social media with friends.

Starting at 10:00 am MT, access will be given in waves to those who signed up on Steam. Steam’s system will randomly select players during this process. Selected players can begin downloading the game at 10:00 am MT on February 2, 2024, while access to the Realms will be available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm MT on the same day.
