Gamempires has released a brand-new update for their open-world survival game SCUM. It adds improvements to the sky combat, counters to electrical devices, in-depth server customization, and more.
The Duster plane has finally made its return after a long time. It still has the features you love, but with a few small changes. One of the noticeable changes is the ability to mount the m249 on the weapon pylon. This will provide you with more ammo and a faster rate of fire. Currently, if a wing is destroyed, the plane will decay much faster and eventually be destroyed. The ability to fix your plane will be added in a later update.
The EMP grenade is making an appearance in SCUM. This device is designed to fry and discharge all electronic devices in a small radius. It can be used to disable NVGs worn by sneaking players or the battery of an approaching vehicle. It can also be used to temporarily disable sentries, so you have the ability to reset their memory core and make them forget that they are in combat mode. Sadly, however, the EMP will have no effect on locked doors that are protected by a Faraday cage effect. This means that no free killbox loot.

The developers have implemented a highly requested feature that allows server owners to customize loot on their servers, or a single-player world if you so desire. For instance, you can search rocks and find grenades, grow watermelons that give you RPK with ammo, or have medical containers that produce beer and whiskey the best kind of medicine! This new feature is highly customizable, but it can be a bit complicated due to the amount of options.
Headgear has gotten a rework. Some pieces like the motor helmet for example can be taken apart into three separate items. The helmet itself, the goggles, and the face mask, you can wear them separately or mix and match them with other armor pieces. A ton of new clothing has been added from hats, skirts, socks, and more. Additionally, you can now get a holster for your knife.
Will you be starting a new world with crazy loot spawns, or are you more interested in getting back into the sky with the Duster? Let me know in the comments.
