The most successful indie survival game of 2021 just released new content. The Valheim’s Frost Caves update might not be large in scale, but it is sure to be a nice addition to the game.

This time, brave Viking warriors will get to explore a new dungeon. The place is filled with new enemies bats and werewolf-like Ulvs and Cultist creatures.

Frozen caves can be a challenging place to survive for new adventurers, but it also provides useful resources worth fighting for. Additional materials found in the dungeon will allow you to craft new items. Flesh Rippers is a fists weapon while Fenris armor provides an additional bonus if you wear the full set.

New building items and the special “You stirred the cauldron” event were also added to the game.

Additionally, developers optimized Valheim for Steam Deck and added fixes, improvements, and controller support. You can find the full patch notes on Steam.
