Welcome to ParadiZe Releases a New Gameplay Trailer

Pimp your zombie.

Welcome to ParadiZe has launched its latest gameplay trailer, so now we can have a peek and see some of the new features of this up-and-coming zombie survival game, where zombies are not only are a threat, but they can also become your loyal pets.

In the trailer, some of the weapons that were revealed are melee weapons such as baseball bats and spiked gloves, along with a myriad of range weapons such as flamethrowers, pneumatic guns, electromagnet guns, shotguns, even an air rifle.

The weapons also have a level or rarity system that denotes the quality of the weapon. The three categories that were shown were common, refined, and rare, so we will have to wait and see if there are any other levels we don’t currently know about.

Besides weapons, there are also gadgets that you can build and deploy, such as the Deflagrator, which will help repeal all humans, zombies, and even Zombots. Zombie Targets, to attract enemies, and even a mine dropper that will allow you to drop anti-personnel mines over a given area.

The most unique feature of this game is the ability to make your own zombie henchmen, known as Zombots. If a zombie has a red light on its head, it means that zombie is claimed by another player, but if it’s green, it’s your Zombot. Neutral zombies don’t have a light at all. However, there is a feral type of zombies, which can’t be tamed.

Once you have your own Zombot, you can customize its looks and even outfit with some of the weapons and gadgets. It does appear that each zombie follower can have one weapon and gadget at a time. You will also have the freedom to program your Zombot on how it will behave in and out of combat.

What kind of survival crafting game would be worth its salt if it didn’t allow you to build in the wild, find a place, and make it your own self-sufficient home? There appears to be a selection of buildings, such as the Shelter Storage building, that will allow you to store your resources and travel to any already unlocked outpost you might find.

You will also have to defend your property with building walls and other defensive structures such as flare-infused spikes to impale any unwanted guests, and you can even leave some of your Zombots behind to defend your base while you are away.

Welcome to ParadiZe is set to be released on February 29th, 2024, on Playstation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and for PC via Steam and Epic.
